Day 2 Gangtok Local Excursion
After having your early morning breakfast get ready for sight seen with your guide. Visiting Tashi View Point which is the perfect place to give a kickstart to your day by being lost into the surroundings of valleys, mountains, and Gangtok itself. With a stunning sunrise and witnessing changing colors of Kanchan Janga and Sinolchu peak. Then Visit Ganesh Tok temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha overlooking the city of Gangtok situated at 2000 meters (6500ft )in elevation. Mesmerizing unparalleled views adorned with colorful sacred flags look-alike rainbow view which leads to pine garden creating panoramic scenic nature. Then visit Bakthang waterfall where Bak is Forest and Thang is Meadow. Enjoy the waterfall and its natural surroundings which will keep you moving to love and live nature. Again a beautiful sight to visit is the Flower Show for Flower lovers where you will see some different varieties of Colorful flowers which will make you tempted to take pictures. Day 5 Darjeeling
Wake up early morning at 4;00 am for a drive to sunrise point Tiger Hill located at 8400 ft. from where you will see the breathtaking sunrise view over Mt Kanchenjunga (28208 ft) which is the third highest peak in the world. On the way back will visit Ghum Monastery an age-old monastery of the Sakya's. with scenic natural surroundings and history. Then visit Batasia Loop which was built to lower the slope of incline of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in West Bengal. You can get a perfect bird’s eye view of the whole Darjeeling from here. Relax and enjoy and refresh yourself once we reach our hotel. After having breakfast get ready for a full day sightseeing of Darjeeling. Visiting the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute which was established in 1954 was inspired by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay succeeding Everest in 1953. Then visit P N Zoological park which is very famous due to its unique different species of animal which are bred like Red Pandas, Tibetan Wolves, Snow Leopards, and more. Located at 7000 ft in the 67.5-acre surrounding which is the highest Zoo in India (Thursday it is closed). Then visit Tenzing Rock where Tenzing used to practice on that gigantic rock which inspired him to move forward to make history by climbing Mt. Everest. Visit Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre and visit Darjeeling Tea garden which is one of the most important tea-producing centers in the world. Later enjoy the Ropeway journey that offers attractive sights of Darjeeling as well as the valleys which will stun you with scenic views.
