Our Ladakh adventure will take you to the world’s highest motorable road Khardungla pass which is situated at a height of 19000ft above sea level. We will have a first-hand experience of the cold desert at Nubra Valley and visit the astonishing temples, built on these harsh terrains. Enjoy the natural beauty at its best untouched by humans and preserving its glory the Pangong lake is breathtaking and worth all the efforts. Watch the lake change colors as the sun moves across the sky and indulge in the beauty of this place, which was showcased in the famous movie “3 Idiots”. Ladakh is mostly cut off from the world during the winters as most highways are blocked by snowfall. The best time to visit this region is from the month of May till early September. Your safety is our top priority and makes sure to travel with all the precautions and have proper acclimatization before we head towards the higher altitudes.
Day 1 – Arrival Leh
Today you will arrive by flight at the world's highest commercial airport the Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport. Our local representative will be there to greet you on arrival. Proceed to the hotel for check-in and relax. If you are not feeling well due to a sudden change of altitude you can get medical help from your hotel. Today in the evening we will take a small walk on the Changsa road to get acclimatized to the environment. Dinner at the hotel and relax for the day.
Day 2 – Leh
After breakfast today we will explore the beautiful city of Leh. Starting our day at the Shanti Stupa and then we head towards the 16th century Leh palace built by Sengge Namgyal. Then we will explore the local market at Changsa road, so you can pick up souvenirs for your loved ones. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 – Leh – Nubra (160km/5hrs)
We leave for the scenic Nubra Valley passing through the world's highest motorable pass “Khardungla” we will stop for some time and enjoy the snow-covered mountains at the pass. We will visit the Hunder Village and the Diskit gompa which houses a 32 meter high status of Maitreya Buddha. We will visit the Khalsar bridge and also enjoy a camelback ride on the double-humped camel in the cold desert. Check in to your camp for the night and enjoy the delicious dinner at the camp.
Day 4 – Nubra - Pangong (220km/7hrs)
Today early morning after breakfast we leave for the iconic Pangong lake. It would be a seven-hour journey by your private vehicle. We will stop at the tansy temple on the way, and also stopover at the scenic Durbuk village and at Changthang. Reaching the Pangong lake before evening and watch the sunset beside the beautiful waters of the lake which changes colors with the sun. Overnight dinner and stop at camp.
Day 5 – Pangong – Leh (225km/6hr)
Today we enjoy morning views of the lake. Later we have our breakfast and check-out for our journey back to Leh. It’s a long journey with mesmerizing views of snow-capped mountains and beautiful terrains. Reaching Leh by evening check in at the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Leh.
Day 6 – Departure
Our wonderful Leh adventure comes to an end, our representative will drop you at the Leh Airport for your journey back home.
